CIMC Merged Yantai Raffles

The merger and acquisitions is a way can make the enterprise grew strong. It is the product of the market economy development. After China has become a member of WTO, the economy of china has no longer seals up in a small area. China's enterprise has been merging other business enterprises. Even merge more foreigner company. The result proved that the merging between the businesses can make each other stronger and the brand effect of the business more obvious. It brought more interests to the enterprise. In this thesis, I analysed the case of the CIMC merged the Yantai Raffles and the hole merge process. There are two parts of this thesis. The first part is the case. The second part is the analysis of the case.In the first part, I introduced the information of the CIMC and the Yantai Raffles. The operation information of the company in resent period. I wrote the reasons of the merging and the ocean engineering's history and the present condition. After the investigation of CIMC to the ocean engineering industry that the CIMC decided to purchase the Yantai Raffles. In this part, I have written the operation of the company after purchasing. Put forward a proposed and the problem in the end of this part.In the second part, I have given the reasons why the CIMC want to enter the ocean engineering industry. I have written the reasons by the theory of cooperate and SWOT method what I have learned in the class. Even given the answer of the problem which given in the first part. At last, I gave the advice of the operation to the CIMC in future. I hope this thesis can give the useful advice to the same kind business enterprise. And offering draw lessons from this case of the thesis.
