Research On The Interactive Development Between Producer Services And Manufacturing In Hunan

With the advent of knowledge economy and the development of information technology, industrialization and urbanization proceeded steadily, greater and greater services are demanded by modern industry, these make the industrial structure of services began to change. At the same time, the development of producer services and the structure optimized can provide high value-added and high-tech intermediate services products for manufacturing, thereby improving the productivity of manufacturing. On the other hand, the development of manufacturing can provide a broad market for producer services, stimulating the development of producer services.Based on the actual situation of economic development in Hunan Province and the achievement of previous research, this paper defined and classified the producer services and manufacturing first. Then studied the interactive mechanism of interaction from the perspective of social division of labor, value chains, industrial clusters and innovative. Based on the analysis of the actuality of producer services and manufacturing development of Hunan, this paper used the coupling analysis to show that: the coupling between producer services and manufacturing in Hunan Province is strong, especially the coupling between capital and labor investment of producer services and manufacturing, and between the manufacturing's economic creativity and producer services; then this paper used Granger causality analysis to show that: producer services and manufacturing are mutually reinforcing, but the role of manufacturing played on producer services is more obvious. There are long-term equilibrium relationship between transportation, storage and postal industry, finance insurance, scientific research and integrated technical and equipment manufacturing industry. But there is no Granger causality between the transportation, storage and postal industry and the equipment manufacturing industry, and there is one-way causality between finance and insurance industry and equipment manufacturing industry, two-way causality between scientific research and integrated technical services and equipment manufacturing industry. Through the empirical analysis, we can find the interaction between producer services in Hunan Province is not satisfactory, so we should increase policy support, increase scientific and technological input and personnel training, optimize the industrial structure, strengthen regional cooperation to promote positive interaction between producer services and manufacturing.
