From The Perspective Of Political Economics To Research The Trade Structure Adjustment In The Transitional Period Of China

Combining with the reality of China, the paper has referenced many scholars' study and analysis of the trade structure and related problems. We make classified analysis from the structure of the trade goods, form of trade structure, trade subject structure and trade area structure. We have found many problems about the trade structure adjustment in the transitional period of China. Such as the industry imbalances of trade goods structure, benefit unbalance of trade form structure, internal and external imbalances of trade subject structure, market imbalances of trade area structure.We could make an analysis from the perspective of political economics in China's situation currently and problems of trade structure. Firstly, we reach the conclusion through the economic effect of static analysis under the local equilibrium conditions and general equilibrium conditions:China's overall welfare will not make significant effect to reduce low value-added export, but only welfare benefits transfer not loss. However the transfer is benefic to consumers, it will improving the overall welfare level of residents in our country, at the same time, it also can play a positive role for the current in the serious inflation. Compared with static effect, dynamic effects of the import and export countries emphasize is firm in his own benefit maximization, because of the government under the principles of the policy orientation and the corresponding strategy change happened, as well as adjustment which produces economic impact. Adjust the current trade structure may bring elements pushing effects, policy demonstration effect and externalities effect. Overall speaking, it is more benefits.On the political level, there are also many changes of different benefits mainly from the domestic and foreign. We should pay much attention to the pressure of the government, the interests of enterprise, the support of people. The Chinese government in the short term will face the situation of decreased exports and foreign exchange income, which is in the acceptable range. But which could cause unemployment will give China society brings the new unstable factors. But the biggest challenge which the Chinese government must be faced is unemployment. It can also make new unstable factors. The political impact which other interest groups can bring is very limited. Trade structure adjustment in the long run to the development of national economy has obvious positive role. Not only the increased welfare level of consumers, but also the narrowing of the income gap of residents, these both can make people happy. In the international, the author discusses the influence on the performance of the world market, the international competitiveness of Chinese goods and the main trade partnership after the adjustment. The important goal of trade structure adjustment is to enhance the international competitiveness of our products and our industry, to ensure national economic security and economic power position. Then the world economy are increasingly linked, the adjustment will also impact to other countries. To reduce the export of labor-intensive products can decrease the China's trade surplus to our major trading partners and reduce the threat of trade friction. It also can strengthen economic ties with other developing countries through International Trade Area equalization policy. While the adjustment of China's foreign-funded enterprises preferential policies for the development may cause investment country concern and dissatisfaction, then result the foreign capital outflow or even trade retaliation. So we need the government handle it properly through political, economic, diplomatic and other ways. To all the world market, China has been played the role of "world factory" for many years. We work hard by using our cheap labor resources, destructing environment and sacrificing resources at the bottom of the global industrial chain. The financial crisis not only make us realized the necessity and urgency of the transformation, but also let us understand the possibility and direction of the adjustment. Now, it is a perfect opportunity to adjust the trade structure and change the mode of economic growth for China. And it's also a necessary course for us to change from a large trading country to a powerful one.Finally, according to the above problemsⅠmake some policy suggestions to maximize the economic benefits and political welfare. The innovation of the article is the background and the research methods. According to economic and political analysis, this paper discusses two link ages of the common market changes, enrich the earnings of the domestic study of the similar problems research methods and research perspective.
