For the changes in trade structure in Jiangsu province and the country in recent years, we can not only use theory of comparative advantage to explain. One important new experience of China's trade development is participated actively in the new system of international division of labor which is based on the division of product and selected the appropriate trade model to seek their own economic development.Intra product Specialization is new concepts, methods and mechanisms of international division of labor and international trade development in the context of economic globalization. The different working procedure, segments or components during the process of specific products is distributed in the space to different countries, and then the country makes specialized production on the specific links of the product value chain. This approach is beneficial to play the comparative advantage of different countries more fully. Also, this way is helpful to bring greater Scale Economic Effect and Technology spillover effect Overview. Meanwhile, it encourages enterprises to better grasp core competitiveness and promotes a country's trade structure to diversification effectively. Intra product Specialization provides a new starting point to help China integrate into the world economic system, but also provides the realistic possibility for us to raise the global manufacturing value chain and obtain bigger benefits of international division of labor. Intra product Specialization indicates the important way which realizes China's industry structure and foreign structure in parallel to upgrade.Jiangsu province has walked in the forefront of the country in the development of foreign trade. This development is not only leading the trade volume, but also optimizing and upgrading the foreign trade structure constantly. This optimization reflects the changes in the structure of foreign trade on commodity more visually. In recent years, the export of industrial finished products is far beyond the primary commodities, the gross export quantity of electromechanical products and high-tech products increased year after year, and the technical content of exports raised, also trade in technology and service developed rapidly. The optimization of trade structure derives from escalating the industrial structure. The improvement trade has developed which is the main form of Intra product Specialization. Participating in the international intra product specialization in both breadth and depth is one of reasons indicates Jiangsu's foreign trade structure trends to rationalization and sophistication.The analysis of this article is based on the facts above. First of all, we introduce the concept of trade structure and related trade theory. Then we introduce Intra product Specialization which is the new analytical framework of international trade theory and discuss the positive impacts of intra product specialization which is optimized the foreign trade structure. Meanwhile, we point out the"Trap of Intra product Specialization"can bring a certain obstacles to the structure's rationalization and sophistication. Secondly, we analyze the current situation of foreign trade structure in Jiangsu province and reveal the changes in the characteristics of the structure in Jiangsu and problems. Thirdly, we use the quantitative indicators which means intra product specialization index, combing with empirical data of Jiangsu's foreign trade over the years to get the conclusion that intra product specialization is beneficial to optimize the foreign trade structure. Finally, combined the analysis above, we suggest using intra product specialization effectively to upgrade the industrial structure, and furthermore to improve the policy recommendation about the optimization of foreign trade structure meeting the purpose of taking theory into practice.
