Analysis On Upgrading Of Guangdong Processing Trade Based On The Intra-product Specialization

With the development of economic globalization and science and technology, in the last30years of the last century, There has been a fundamental change in the international trade, ofwhich the most important changes appeared in international division gradually penetratedinto intra-product specialization from inter-industry division of labor, industrial productswithin the division of labor. Each country specialized in process of production in differentcountries and regions. Processing trade is an important form of intra-product specialization.As the most important trade in Guangdong, Processing trade plays an important role inpromoting economic development. Based on this, the paper analyzes the adaptability and theposition of the intra-product in Guangdong, and the key factors which influence theupgrading of processing trade, and then tries to search suitable countermeasures forupgrading of processing trade in the new trends of international specialization.Based on the relevant theory and literature both from domestic and foreign countries, thisthesis summarizes the connections between Guangdong processing trade and theintra-product specialization, as well as upgrading path which through internal and externalelements effects of intra-product on processing trade. And then the paper studies theimportant role and the current status of intra-product specialization in Guangdong.Meanwhile, this paper analyzes the Guangdong processing trade’s current position inparticipating in intra-product specialization, and the paper founds the decisive factors whichinfluence the upgrading of Guangdong processing trade. Afterwards, the paper uses the paneldata mode to test the decisive factors with empirical analysis.
