The Study Of Development Of Model Of China's Design Industry

In recent years, our country is in strategic transition of industrial restructuring and the development mode needs to change. As design industry has an intimate relation with the manufacturing industry, it ushered in the development opportunity. With the rapid development of China's economy, science and culture, our country's design industry has gradually grown from buds. In 2011, the policy "China's national economic and social development plan for 1025" was issued to take the design industry development as a part of nurturing high-tech service industry which means its statue is elevated. Especially the regions with developed economy have long realized its guiding function made to domestic and then actively seeking an effective way at present, with a large amount of problems during this period. As established on the basis of fierce competition, how to promote the quality and take a turn to be out of danger, and then transit from "made in China" to "designed in China" and "innovated in China" is very important for design industry and essential for China. So this paper tries to start from the analysis on the development patterns of design industry abroad, so as to obtain the appropriate pattern for our mainland through econometrics panel data mode which can verify the input and output mode of design industry.Based on the study of the Chinese and foreign scholars, this paper has analyzed the design industry concretely and its development situation of the main cities in China, and its development environment through SWOT model. For reference to the design industry development model of Britain, the United States, Japan, South Korea and other countries, this paper has proposed some development pattern of design industry suitable for our country. In empirical research, this paper selected 32 represent cities in the Yangtze river delta and pearl river delta and Beijing where the design industry develops fast, using their statistics from 2007 to 2010 to carry on research by panel data model, through measuring fixed effects model to validate the relations between input and output of design industry. The theoretical and empirical studies shows that our government should establish the design industry as a national strategy, and the co-ordinating of the development of the national design industry。These must be taken seriously in the certain stage and this requires the joint efforts of the enterprises, research department (schools), the public and national government.
