As management continues to mature and in-depth, Economic Development Zone has gradually become an important pillar of regional economic growth and technological innovation. It has played a good role model and great radiation effects of promoting industrial upgrading and employment expansion. It should be noticed, for a long time, the process of economic development zones in land use, there are still many shortcomings. In the Economic Development Zones, It is obvious that there are a lot of idle land, the land for project expand blindly, use inefficiently, and damage environment. With the increasing of man-land conflicts, land use pattern in the Economic Development Zones face to change from extensive to intensive, inefficient to efficient. To establish efficient intensive cleaning land use pattern, maximize the extent of land use is not only the objective and direction of land management, but also an important indicator for measuring the management level.Guangxi Beiliu domestic ceramics industrial park located in the northeast of Beiliu City, its leading industries are ceramics and cement products. The typical industry park covers an area of 1339.35 hectares, which ranks second in Guangxi, it is consists of 3 parts, located in suburb and urban district of Beiliu City. This paper studied the industrial park for the evaluation of use land intensive. First, this paper discussed the connotation of development zone intensive land use, summarized the status of intensive land use at home and abroad, research methods evaluation index system, index weighting, indicated the idea and composition of development zone intensive land use. This article took the air photos in 2008 of the industrial park as base map, through field investigation, measure, image interpretation, land vectorization, drew the present land use maps according to the different map scale, established industrial park land information and attribute database, calculated the land structure data. Based on this, this article analyzed the land use status, the coordination of structure and functional orientation and the implementation of land planning. In land intensive use evaluation aspects, based on the of intensive land use viewpoint economic, social and ecological benefits, this article established the intensive land use evaluation index system. The system contains 8 subgoals,19 indicators, which evaluates the intensive land use in space, economy, management and environment four aspects. As to the index weighting, this article combined the AHP and Entropy Method to calculate the index weights. This method can overcome the shortcoming of subjectively or objectively methods, make the index weight reflect the decision-maker's subjective information and the objective reality. The result showed that, in this industrial park, the space intensive degrees was 84.64 points, the economic intensive degrees was 87.66 points, the management performance intensive degrees was 89.88 points, the environmental benefit intensive degrees was 80.22 points, the total score was 85.70 points. The land use level of this industrial park was high but it still had its potential. There were 282.98 hectares land to use as industry and warehousing land. In the completed town construction land, the structure potential was 17.42 hectares and the management potential was 0 hectares. There were strength potential 34.81 hectares,12.79 hectares,15.50 hectares and 16.67 hectares in it calculated according to comprehensive plot ratio, building density, fixed assets investment intensity and output intensity. It is estimated that the industrial park land could still supply for 20.4 years, the industry and warehousing land could still supply for 7.3 years. Finally, this article drew the potential map of the industrial park. For the land use situation and problems, this article recommended measures and proposals for improving the intensive land use.
