Studies On Chinese Social Enterprise In Charity Dilemma

In 2011, the development of China's charity is in the trouble. A beautiful woman named Guo Meimei show off her wealth online and drag Chinese government-run charity——the Chinese Red Cross into the quagmire of public opinion.This incident also shows that our philanthropy will have a long way to go. The development of NPO is important to the promotion of social harmony and stability, increasing employment, innovation in social management, and other aspects of social.However, the NPO, particularly the development of charitable NPO in China face difficulties. The reason, On one hand is from the NPO itself: there is lack of charity, organization development and projects is in the patriarchal mentality, NPO of amateur and other reasons. More important reason for failure volunteer is from the reality of China's current social environment:non-profit organization has difficulty to find affiliated units to complete the registration, to obtain legal status, and to own a stable source of funding sources. The social enterprise, in the form of social organization management innovation appears, and is possible for these problems.However, the development of social enterprises in China has many shortcomings:there is no perfect management system, the paradox between commercial and public welfare and the market competitiveness of enterprises themselves. To promote the healthy development of social enterprises, China need complete the following policy measures:Update and reform of registration management system, give non-profit social enterprise the social organization attributes, and broaden funding sources and market space for social enterprise.and other measuresIn this paper, taking the basic theory of NPO management and social enterprise as a guide,and the Amity bakery for example, making the combination of the theoretical and empirical analysis with Chinese characteristics, and the comprehensive and systematic study in depth for difficulties and failures to volunteer.
