The Research On Sustainable Development Of Rural Microfinance

Microfinance first emerged as a functional means of supporting the poor, which is to realize the sustainable development of all mankind, and belongs to the scope of the Charity Financial System. The rural microfinance has a development to some degree, but it remains to stay at the early stage of development, it is still insufficient. In the current, there are still some township lacking for financial institutions, and the development of rural microfinance has duality among regions, that is, the rural microfinance mainly concentrates in the economically developed areas. Therefore, our country should make full use of the development opportunities of new rural construction and the one that the State shows more and more concern about the rural finance to realize the comprehensive development of the rural microfinance, in order to eliminate the dual economic structure of rural and urban economy and realize their collaborative development. This paper analyzes the present situation of development of rural microfinance and the development opportunities, then,on the base, proposes some strategy about how to realize the rapid and comprehensive development of China's rural microfinance.First of all, the paper defines the rural microfinance and gives the coverage of it from a relatively new, broader perspective. On this basis, the paper describes and compares the typical international microfinance model, and analyzes the evolutional course of microfinance institutions in the development of rural microfinance.Secondly, the paper begins at the problems existed in the development of our rural microfinance, analyzes the necessity to comprehensively develop the rural microfinance, and connects with the rural economic development in our country at this stage and other development opportunities analyzing the feasibility of comprehensively developing the rural microfinance.Finally, the paper has an empirical research on that rural microfinance performance to the rural economic development, and has a performance evaluation on the impact of rural microfinance to the microfinance institution. On the basis of the theoretical and practical analysis, put forward some relevant recommendations. This paper probes the development strategy form such directions as the policy guidance from the national level, various types of microfinance institutions has various business development strategy, establishment of anti-risk system in rural areas, to realize the rapid and comprehensive development, which will provide the theory used for reference on how to finally achieve the sustainable development for our microfinance.
