Since the1970s, urban agglomeration gradually become the important symbol to measure the economic development of a country or region social. In the wave of globalization, more and more international big urban agglomerations constantly were forming. The eastern part of the United States, Japan's Pacific coast urban agglomeration and urban agglomeration become the center of the global economy. From reform and opening up, china has gradually formed three big urban agglomerations which are the Yangtze River delta and Pearl River delta and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, effectively driving the nation's development, and become the strategy highlands that china participate in international economic competition. However, the formation and development of urban agglomerations is a long and evaluative process. And through the development and evolvement, it comes to mature. Through summarizing the mature experience of urban agglomeration development, we found that:Urban agglomeration economy not only propitious to accelerate the available collocation of the regional resource, improve overall regional competitiveness, but also layout city and industry development from the point of view of the city, strengthen function relation between cities and industry,achieve mutual win. But judging from the circumstances in our country, the development of urban agglomerations can not be statuesque, so it has become the magnitude strategic issue to search for the uncoordinated reasons of urban agglomeration economy development and solve the problems that hinder the economic coordinate development.Ningxia urban agglomeration along the Yellow River as a new urban agglomeration was developing, its coordinated development is not only beneficial to the improvement of people's living standard, promote the great-leap-forward development of social and economy in Ningxia, but also promote national unity. This article draws on the experience from the theory and practice of the coordinated development of urban agglomeration, does a study on economy coordinated development of Ningxia urban agglomeration along the Yellow River deeply and system ically.The paper first studied the meaning of urban agglomeration, the relationship between urban agglomeration and region, related theory of urban agglomeration economy coordinated development. Through the analysis of the reference, search for the urban agglomeration theoretical basis that suitable for construction development of Ningxia urban agglomeration along the Yellow River now, and used in the mode construction of urban agglomeration economy coordinated development. On this basis, analysis background, significance and development present situation of Ningxia urban agglomeration along the Yellow River, analysis the advantages and disadvantages that affect the economic coordinated development, and dissect the main problems and their causes influencing urban agglomeration economy coordinated development. Thus make full use of the favorable conditions of urban agglomeration in constructing the development model of process of Ningxia urban agglomeration along the Yellow River, at the same time solve existing problems that impact the urban agglomeration economy coordinated development, seek the mode which is the most suitable for Ningxia urban agglomeration along the Yellow River. Finally, construct the economic coordinated development mode of Ningxia urban agglomeration along the Yellow River through the theoretical research and practical analysis, and put forward the corresponding security measures in the light of the problems and restricting factors in the process of the economic coordinated development of Ningxia urban agglomeration along the Yellow River.
