Chinese Iron And Steel Industry Research, Technological Innovation Mechanism

As the important foundation and pillar industry in national economy, steel industry is playing an important role in China's industrialization and urbanization process. Since the reform and opening-up, China's steel industry has developed rapidly, effectively supported stable and rapid development, China has already been the world's largest steel producer and consumer currently. However, China's steel industry is not strong, and faced with many serious problems. This has an important relationship with low ability of technological innovation, week independent innovation and insufficient R&D investment in China's steel industry. Technological innovation mechanism is the key of technological innovation, so it has an important practical significance and role in promoting development of our steel industry from researching on the point of technological innovation mechanism.By using theoretical research and empirical studies, this paper mainly studies the technological innovation mechanism of China's steel industry, discusses the technological innovation mechanism evolution of China's steel industry, analyzes the situation and problems of the technological innovation mechanism in China's steel industry, and then, proposes several measures and suggestions for the construction of it.The paper is divided into six parts. In the preface, the background, research method and content, and research situation at home and abroad are introduced. In the first chapter, the author outlines the theory of technological innovation and technological innovation mechanism, and it is divided into technological dynamic mechanism, operation mechanism, guarantee mechanism and diffusion mechanism. According to three different time periods, the thesis analyzes the evolution of the technological innovation mechanism of China's steel industry, and then discusses the influences in the second chapter. As the focus of this paper, in the third chapter, the thesis analyzes the situation of the technological innovation mechanism in China's steel industry deeply from four aspects: technological dynamic mechanism, operation mechanism, guarantee mechanism and diffusion mechanism. And then analyzes the existing problems and the causes of the problems. In the fourth chapter, the thesis first summarizes the development course and technological innovation of Baosteel which is the leader of China's steel industry, analyzes its technological innovation mechanism. On the basis of the previous four chapters, the fifth chapter, the author puts forward several measures and suggestions to strengthen the construction of technological innovation mechanism in China's steel industry, including five aspects:first, make effective technological innovation strategy; Second, develop and improve the technological innovation system; Third, increase the investment to technological innovation; Fourth, enhance enterprise innovation culture; Fifth, strengthen the construction of technological innovation sharing mechanism.
