The professional managers are the inevitable choice of social progress and economic development,and they have been the indispensable backbone of the modern enterprise's management. However,through the analysis of the development state of Chinese professional managers, we find that, after ashort brilliance, the industry of professional managers began to gradually lose their light, and in practice,because of the weakness of moral responsibility consciousness and the loss of occupation ethics, someprofessional managers did some behaviors that contrary to the moral and even the legal norms. Thereason for this phenomenon is no doubt multifaceted, but the weakening and deficiency of professionalmanagers' moral responsibility is one of the most important factors that deserve our close concern.Therefore, it is necessary for us to re-examine and make a profound analysis of the moral responsibilitiesof the professional managers from the perspective of ethics and morality.Because they often make the decision on their own in general, the moral subjects shall bear themoral responsibility. As the people with self independent consciousness, the professional managers,which are the core of the modern enterprise management team,shall assume the moral responsibility.The professional managers are not only responsible for the business owners, shareholders,employees and the development of enterprise, but also should bare the different moral responsibility ofthe other enterprises, which are the enterprise external cooperation and competition having closerelationship with the enterprise, the consumer, natural environment and ecological balance. That theprofessional managers assume the moral responsibility are built on a series of basic principle,whichmainly include faith, Justice, that personal legitimate interests and collective interests are unified, that interests socialist and dedication of socialism are unified and that reasonable requirement and moderatemeet are unified. Among them, faith is the core and the first principles of the professional manager moralresponsibility.Today, although the moral level of professional manager is gradually improve, lack of moralresponsibility is existed in the most professional managers. In some degree, it limits the development andgrowth of enterprises in China. Therefore, building the moral responsibility realization mechanism of theprofessional manager is very necessary.In order to adapt to the needs of the development of modern economic, the professional managersshould perform actively the moral responsibility, which will need them to enhance their moralself-discipline and make them become a highly self-discipline people. And, a series of systems, whichincludes the modern property rights system, the supervision system, the incentive system and theevaluation system, should be completed. Moreover, the complete legal system and the social ethicssystem should be established. Only the moral self-discipline and heteronomy are achieved, theprofessional managers can practice the moral responsibility in a wider range. and that they can better toachieve their own value, providing a better opportunity for the development of the enterprise and thesocial progress.
