The Research On The Correlation Of Corporate Social Responsibility And Enterprise Performance Of The Medicine Manufacturing Industry Lsted Company In Our Country

The thoughts of corporate social responsibility originated from western countries,while with China's economic development, social progress and economic globalization,China's enterprises paid more and more emphasis on corporate social responsibility. Butcompared with the developed countries, there is still a long distance, which is not onlyin the theory of corporate social responsibility research, but also on the investment ofcorporate social responsibility. China is a developing country with a large population,while with fast economic growth, there are a lot of social problems, some enterprises areonly in pursuit of their own immediate interests, ignoring the interests of otherstakeholders, and their social responsibility consciousness is serious low. which causedvery adverse effect on our country overall development. China, as an important link ofglobal economic chain, has the responsibility and the duty to develop economy, protectthe environment and safeguard the safety of the life and the property, to narrow thedistance with the developed countries in terms of corporate social responsibility and toimprove the competition of enterprises and the overall level of our country.There is close relationship on the medicine and the daily life of everyone, which isaffecting the safety our lives and health, pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises arethe source of drug production, its importance is more outstanding. What thepharmaceutical manufacturing industry did in the social responsibility is always thefocus of the theory and practice, as listed companies involved in the interests of manystakeholders, its performance on the social responsibility can well reflect the overall ofthe pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, and the research on this area is veryrepresentativeThe enterprise performance, as a key index to measure the survival anddevelopment of enterprises, is always the focus of the government, while the enterpriseson the aspects of social responsibility needs to consume a certain cost, it also bringssome intangible benefits to the performance of the enterprise. So the relative betweenthe social responsibility and the enterprise performance has always been the focus of thescholars at home and abroad. Reviewing the past research, the results on the twocorrelation are not Invariant, there is not only a positive correlation conclusion, but alsoa negative correlation conclusion, even not relative correlation to the conclusion. Thisalso puzzled the enterprise whether it should invest in social responsibility.Basing on this theoretical and practical background, This paper chooses the data of63listed Chinese companies in medicine manufacturing industry from2006to2010toresearch in the relationship between corporate social responsibility and enterpriseperformance.Firstly,reviewing the literature of the corporate social responsibility andits correlation with corporate performance as well as the article of the author before,Secondly, analyzing the theories of the corporate social responsibility and enterpriseperformance, Thirdly, In order to illustrate the relationship between corporate social responsibility and enterprise performance comprehensively, introducing twoindependent variables:the scale of enterprises and its economic zone, when empiricalresearch in the enterprise performance and corporate society responsibility through theestablishment of the multiple regression model.Enterprise performance uses the wallmarking way, enterprise scale uses the total assets of the enterprise of the naturallogarithm method, economic zone adopts the false value evaluation method, enterprisesociety responsibility uses the statistical scoring method. The study reveals that:enterprise performance and enterprise in the economic zone are not related; enterpriseperformance and the size of the enterprise are negatively correlated; enterpriseperformance and the social responsibility of the enterprise are related. This shows thatthe investment in corporate social responsibility is in a good promotion effect on theenterprise performance in the medicine manufacturing listed companies in our country,while the scale of the enterprise does a negative contribution role to enterpriseperformance, and the enterprise in the economic zone does not have any effect onenterprise performance. The research conclusion provides a good theory to encourageenterprises to increase the investment in corporate social responsibility. Finally thispaper provides some suggestions to the situations that the score of enterprise societyresponsibility in our country is generally low, and points out that there is somedeficiency in the research and the prospect for the further research in the future...
