Shangzhuang gold mining area, a typical altered-tectonite-type gold doposit,is located in the north of the Zhao-Ye gold-deposit belt of Jiaodong Peninsular. The deposit occurs in the contact zone of the Linglong granite and the Guojialing granodiorite, controlled by the wangershan tectonic zones of NNE striking faults.The morphological characteristic of pyrite is mainly hypidiomorphic or xenomorphic crystal, fractured intensely. Bi, As, Te, Cu, Ni, et al are the enriched elements in pyrite, which spatial distribution characteristics shows that different gold mineralization prospects would be expectable in the dpth of orebodies. The analysis of REE reveals that the REE distribution pattern of pyrite is right deviation pattern, in accordance with ores and country rock. The thermoelectric coefficient of pyrite ranges from -346.1μν/℃to 342.7μν/℃, with the conduction type mixed of P type and N type. According to the thermoelectric, the mineralization temperature is 130℃to 310℃. The resistivity of pyrite is about 0.05~276.38?·cm, with an average of 18.48?·cm. Quartz in this deposit is mainly gray or offwhite, which occurs in the form of quartz veins. Trace elements like Te, Se, As, W, Mo, et al are enriched in the quartz of major ore-forming stage, which has the maximum contaminant of trace elements. Similar to Ar3j, the REE distribution pattern of quartz is right deviation pattern. The glow curves of thermoluminescence of quartz are mostly Single-peak type. Temperature in peak position ranges from200℃to 250℃. The samples with different glow curves or from different part of orebody show significant differences in luminous intensity. The intensive study found that the vertical variation of the mineral typomorphic parameters, such as occurrence rates of P-type, average value of thermoelectric coefficient and resistivity of pyrite, luminous temperature and intensity of quartz and so on, shows wavy or rhythmic feature, being from high to low and again to high. Besides, the result of mineralogical mapping with these parameters reveals that the corresponding relationships between mineral typomorphic characteristics and mineralization in the middle part of orebodies are different from other parts, which indicates the superimposed mineralization may occur around the depth of -500m. The analytical result of sulfur and lead isotopes suggest that the metallogenic materials are originated from the lower crust with a little mantle material. The analysis of element migration during alteration indicates that granitoid country rocks provide few metallogenic materials. The consonant REE pattern of ores and Guojialing granodiorite explains they may have the same material source. Co/Ni content rate in pyrite and the studies of helium and argon isotopes of pyrite, Hydrogen and oxygen isotopes of quartz, oxygen and carbon isotopes of calcite indicate that the ore forming fluid is the mixture of crustal fluid and mantle fluid, mainly of crustal fluid, mixing of little meteoric water.To sum up, on the base of diagenesis-mineralization time gap, combining the regional background that lithospheric thinning and crust-mantle interaction, arising from plate collision and oceanic crust subduction in Mesozoic, Jiaodong peninsula, the author establish the metallogenic model that the deposit is postmagmatic mesothermal and epithermal altered rock type gold deposit. Based on integrated studies of geological characteristics of the deposit, the criteria for ore prospecting for gold orebody and its alteration zone are determined, meanwhile, five prospecting target areas are pointed with the changing rules of mineral typomorphic characteristics of pyrite and quartz. In a word, above-mentioned research results are indicative to the deep ore prospecting and ore-finding in this mining area.
