With the help of the lightning localization date from2007-2009of Wuhan district, this paper analyses the lightning seasonal distribution by mathematical statistics, and combined with ground meteorological date, this paper also analyses the relationship between lightning characteristic and temperature and humidity and rainfall by relevance analysis and analysis of significance difference. The results show that: The lightning and the temperature and humidity:Lightning frequency has a good correlation with the ground monthly temperature, and the correlation between it and upper air monthly temperature decreases when the height increase. Besides, lightning frequency has little relevance with ground monthly humidity, and though lightning frequency and upper air monthly humidity is positively correlated, the correlation coefficient is small.Ground and upper air temperature have no significant differences when with or without lightning, but the surface and upper air humidity are highly significant difference.Although the lightning intensity and ground monthly temperature is positive correlation, the correlation coefficient is small. Lightning intensity and upper air temperature is poor correlation. The lightning intensity and ground and upper air humidity is negatively correlation. When lightning intensity greater or less than60kA, the ground and upper air temperature have no significant difference, but the ground and upper air humidity are significant difference. Lightning and rainfall:Lightning accompanied monthly rainfall and lightning activity relatively consistent; the monthly total rainfall and lightning change are similar, but the peak time are different. When rainfall accompanied by Lightning, the probability of big rainfall is significantly greater than not accompanied by Lightning. With the longer period divided, lightning activity associated with the corresponding rainfall is more pronounced. The regression equation of Seasonal lightning frequency and rainfall is R=0.0086F+137.04, R is rainfall, F is lightning frequency, correlation coefficient is0.89.By the significant difference analysis, rainfall has a highly significant difference in whether the lightning conditions.
