With the popularization and promotion of GPS, the GPS has already more and more been used in engineering survey. Now the common method of establishing project control network is:First, use the GPS to establish the Primary Control Network, and then use the total station to extend the Primary control network. The GPS is typical geodetic survey method, its results belong to the Normal system, and the total station observations belong to the Vertical system. The value of the horizontal direction and distance between these two coordinate systems exist the two corrections. If we ignore these corrections, it will result in Systematic error. These Systematic errors cannot be ignored on the large span, high-precision precise engineering survey with the increasing demands of accuracy.To solve this problem, this Thesis first study on the basic principle of GPS engineering control network adjustment, and summarize four kinds of commonly mathematical models of GPS engineering control network adjustment. These method including:three-dimensional constraint adjustment with space rectangular coordinates as unknown parameter, and three-dimensional constraint adjustment with geodetic coordinates as unknown parameter, and two-dimensional constraint adjustment with plane two-dimensional baseline vector observation, two-dimensional constraint adjustment with virtual observations of the difference of plane coordinate.Then this Thesis has learned the concept of the plane rectangular coordinate system of road project, and learned the theory of GPS project control network adjustment under the plane rectangular coordinate system of road project, established and improved the mathematical model and the stochastic model and derived its mathematical formula.Finally, based on the system theory of the plane rectangular coordinate system of road project, this Thesis has used Visual studio2008.NET as the development platform, Visual C#language as the development tools, independently developed a set of GPS project control network adjustment software under the rectangular plane coordinate system of road project. This software has friendly interface and it has realized the function of GPS engineering control network adjustment under the plane rectangular coordinate system of road project. This software can reach a certain precision though a set of numerical example; it can be a solution idea for large span, high-precision horizontal plane control of linear precise engineering. In addition, the characteristics of this software are it also includes the adjustment module of leveling network, the adjustment module of plane network, the adjustment module of GPS. the gravitational field model forward calculation module, elevation fitting module, the positive and negative coordinates calculation modules of Gauss projection, and coordinate conversion module.
