With the development of defense information technology, the analysis of electromagnetic radiation and scattering properties for objects has a decisive role, and the analysis of electromagnetic scattering properties for objects at a frequency band is especially more important, such as the radar of electronic countermeasure, the stealth aircraft, and so on. The aim of this thesis is the effective analysis of electromagnetic scattering property for objects at a frequency band, and they are mainly introduced through the following several parts:Firstly, the radar cross section (RCS) is summarized preliminary, and the basic principle of the method of moments (MoM) is elaborated. The solution of electric field integral equation(EFIE) using the Rao-Wilton-Glisson (RWG) basis function and the Galerkin method is introduced in detail. Finally in order to verify the effectiveness of MoM, the numerical examples are given and compared with the business software.Then the basic principle of asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) technique and the basic principle of several iterative methods and preconditioning techniques are introduced in detail. The inner-outer iterative near field preconditioning technique combined with the AWE technique are analyzed importantly. Finally, the numerical examples are given and compared with the MoM. It is shown that the method is effective. At the same time, the impedance matrix rational interpolation method is introduced, and the wide band RCS is achieved using the impedance matrix rational interpolation method that the impedance matrices of the other frequency points are got, when the wide band impedance matrices of interpolation basic point frequencies are filled. Finally, the numerical examples are given similarly and compared with the MoM, verifying the method is effective.Finally, the AWE technique and the impedance matrix rational interpolation method combined with the equivalent dipole moment (EDM) method are analyzed respectively. The impedance matrix and more derivative matrices are calculated and stored using the AWE technique, and the impedance matrices of interpolation basic point frequencies are filled and stored using the impedance matrix rational interpolation method, which is quite time-consuming, so the impedance matrix and more derivative matrices about the AWE technique and the impedance matrices of interpolation basic point frequencies about the impedance matrix rational interpolation method are calculated fast using the EDM method replacing the gauss integral. Finally, the numerical examples are given respectively, verifying the two methods are effective.
