The underground reservoir has the determined nature and the characteristic. However,under the existence information imperfect condition, the people thought that the reservoir has randomness because they have some indefinite factor to its understanding general meeting and are difficult to grasp the reservoir real characteristic or the nature under the random criterion.3D geological model is a digital model that reflected changes and distribution in three-dimensional geological characteristics. Build a quantitative geological model that can reflect the reservoir geologic characters and scales is the core and purpose of modern reservoir description,the key of reservoir simulation and dynamic prediction, also on the base of knowing the reservoir objectively and truthfully and developing the reservoir efficiently and accurately. The reservoir modeling’s goal is to portrait internal reservoir lithology within the framework model and it can descript the distribution and the growth characteristic of porosity, permeability, the water saturation. It also can attribute the reservoir and in internal attribute three-dimensional space on the heterogeneity which provides the accurate prototype geological model for the further oil deposit numerical simulation and the remaining oil description. Morever,with the3D visualization geological modeling technology, reservoirs can be oberced and described from multi-angle in3D space. It helps geologic reseatchers to understand the geologic features and patameter distribution of reservoir. It has laid the foundation for integration of geology, geophysics and reservoir development and high-level visualization application, and it also provide important basis for oil field detailed exploration, planning and regulating development programme.Most of the old field in our country has entered the late stage of development, high water content, high degree of reserve recovery is prominent. Because of the discontinuity of the sand、the heterogeneity of the reservoir、imperfections of the early flooding well network、the rock wettability and so on, formation water and flood water were rushed quickly, many of the layer series of development was flooded early. In order to improve recovery ratio, we must to carry on accurate reservoir description, it can accurately describe the distribution of remaining oil. The ultimate goal of the accurate reservoir description is to establish a three-dimensional geological model. This is the results of computer technology widely used in reservoir description, but also the requirements of improve reservoir simulation and producing characteristic prediction accuracy. The emergence and application of the geological model and geological modeling software, is also the main indicator about the reservoir description technology to advance to the reservoir characterization.The paper mainly summarized the different modeling method and the basic step, to make the comparison to the deterministic modeling and the random modeling two different modeling methods. Because the definite modeling is mainly suitable for the well pattern is dense, the material is perfect, but reservoir structure sole sub-area; But in material imperfect as well as reservoir structure space disposition and in reservoir parameter spatial variation quite complex situation, for the balanced error, enhances the model the precision, mostly uses the stochastic modeling. the stochastic modeling’s method has a bigger superiority in the reservoir non-isotropic research aspect, is suitable for this research area the actual situation. Therefore, in this article modeling process the random simulations method occupies the weight is quite high.The fault-block Mao32oil field is a typical complex fault-block reservoir. The blocks are small and more faults. There are still a large number of remaining oil in the strata after second decelopment. Therefore, it is very important to study reservoir accurately, evaluate reservoir comprehensively and build aceurate three-dimension algeological model. it could provide geological basis for development plan and adjustment plan of oil field. According to3-D seismic re-acquisition, processing and interpretation results and reservoir inversion results, and combined with dynamic production performance, to furtherize reservoir geological mode study and to carry out oil group, substrata and rhythm correlation study. Using method of cycle contrast to establish fine reservoir stratigraphic framework. Through3-D seismic data, fine formation correlation and dynamic development data to confirm micro-structure, and to study the characteristics of micro-structure by varieties of single sand. Through the reservoir sedimentation theory to describe sedimentary distribution of reservoir sand, taking micro-facies as units to analyze good reservoir zones,and using different methods to classify the reservoir flow units and to illustrate the movement characteristics of oil and water.According to the seismic, well logging,geologic and reservoir method,the three-dimensional geologic model was built. Some outcomes have been achieved based on this study.First, through the three dimensional geological modeling, I has established the reservoir geology knowledge library, and consummated each essential data integration and standardized processing. Like seismic data database, stratum lamination database, oil well logging database, lithic facies database, reservoir natural database.Second, According to the high vertical Log interpretation and the high lateral seismotectonic resolution. combination of well and seismic, we established the study of reservoir grid model. The application of seismic data to increase the compliance rate of the model and the geological conceptual model, Reduce the uncertainty of the model.Third, Application of geological research, reservoir faices model using the Assign Values deterministic modeling. Compared with non-facies controlled modeling model, facies controlled model to better reflect the real situation of the reservoir, and also provide a scientific and reliable3D data for numerical reservoir simulation.Finally, on the basis of comprehensive geology study, utilizing software Petrel, Adopting sequential Gaussian simulation method, we get the porosity model and the permeability model. The geological model with the area is verified by the geological model with the area. The Research shows that the reliability level of the model is high. Laid the foundation for the next step of the numerical reservoir simulation and development of the dynamic forecast. The model shows the underground geological characters objectively, correctly and externally, reveals the concentration rules of oil and gas, and settles the base of developing this reservoir efficiently and accurately.
