Bird Communities In Different Habitats At Shankou Mangrove Areas And The Use Of Coastal Habitat

In our filed study, we choose one year as a survey cycle to conduct an investigation in four seasons.From March2011to April2011, July2011to August2011, October2011to November2011, and January2012to March2012, By the method of line transect, types of birds, numbers, distribution of spatial, activities of four seasons were surveyed in Shankou Natural Reserve of Mangrove and surrounding areas.It focus on bird communities in breeding seasons, the structure of bird communities in winter and compare the differences and similarities between Eucalyptus plantation and mixed forests.By the method of line transect, the birds diversity and community similarity of five habitats and the distribution of winter bird habit were studied in Marine-terrestrial interlaced zone of Shankou Mangrove areas.Among them,31species were recorded, which belong to20families and9orders. Among the birds community of five habitats, the Shannon-Wiener index of mangrove habitat was the highest, and the farmland habitat occupied the biggest Pielou index. The similarity index appeared the maximal value (0.759) in both farmland and mangrove habitats, while that of the lowest (0.240) appeared in the eucalyptus forest habitat and the farmland habitat. At the same time, this article also made the further discussion at some problems about diversity and similarity of birds community and limitation of diversity index which lived in different habitats in Marine-terrestrial interlaced zone. In winter,58species were recorded, which belong to24families and9orders. From the species composition point of view, mostly are Passerriform birds, there are14families32species Passerriform birds which take about55.2%,10families26species non-Passerriform birds which take about44.8%.We choose14ecological impact factor to conduct Factor Analysis so as to extract principal component.For the respectly characteristics of bird communities in four seasons, we conduct Spearman Correlations. At the same time, some proposals about protection of birds in coastal zone were put forward.
