Investigation Of Aquatic Hyphomycetes And Systematic Study Of Partial Genus

Aquatic hyphomycetes is one of the main group of freshwater fungi. Generally speaking, aquatic hyphomycetes are the fungi that the whole or part of their life cycle rely on freshwater, and there are referable to the anamorphic Ascomycetes and Basiciomycetes. Aquatic hyphomycetes include those fungus distributed only in aquatic environment and those distributed both in aquatic environment and terrestrial environment, as well as those can be found both in freshwater and marine. Aquatic hyphomycetes has been studied for more than60years. However, freshwater fungi were few known in China, more aquatic hyphomycetes recources need to be found. Aquatic hyphomycetes play an important role in material cycles of ecological system. In addition, aquatic hyphomycetes are potential resource for solving some environmental problem such as water pollution and so on. Therefore, it is impotant to study freshwater hyphomycetes.In this study, aquatic hyphomycetes isolated from part regiond of Yunnan province and HaiNan province were investigated. During Jul.2010to Jun.2012, more than300submerged rotten leaves in the freshwater were collected from Baotai mountain Nature Reserve, Dali county; Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden; Mandian Natural Reserve. Meihua mountain, Lincang city; Ruili Botanical Garden, Dehong city; Wuzhishang Nature Reserve and Jianfengling Nature Reserve, Hainan province. The specimens were brought back to the laboratory in the sterile snap-lock plastic bags and more than300strains were isolated by picking single cinidia using a sterilized toothpick. Among these collections,32specied referable to26genus were described and illustrated. Among them,4are new species (two new species were reported),10genus are newly recored for China,9species are newly recored for China.New species:Sympodioplanus yunnanensis, Uncispora sinensis, Dicranidian sp., Setosynnema sp.Newly recorded genus for China:Acumispora, Dendrosporium, Henicospora, Isthmolongispora, Phalangispora, Setosynnema, Staphylotrichum, Uncispora, Sympodioplanus, Verticicladus Newly recorded species for China:Acumispora uniseptata, Dendrosporium lobatum, Dendrosporium candelabroides, Henicospora coronata, Isthmolongispora quadricellularia, Phalangispora constricta, Setosynnema isthmosporum, Staphylotrichum subramanianii, Verticicladus subiculifeIn this study, in order to show phylogenetic position of part genus. Acumispora, Dendrosporium, Dicranidion, Dictyochaeta, Helminthosporium, Wiesneriomyces were sequenced their ITS. Combining related ITS sequence downloaded from Genbank, phylogenetic tree based on ITS sequense was produced by software of MEG A3.
