Passeriformes birds is an order which have the most number of birds in Aves, there are5457species in total, which account for60.43%of the number of the birds. There are28families,167genera and600species in china. In this paper,we amplificate the COI gene of20birds in Passeriformes, and choose Circus cyaneus as outgroup. Using Neighbor-Joining Method (NJ). most parsimonicus method (MP)、maximum likelihood method (ML) and the bayesian method (BI), constructe NJ tree、 MP tree、ML trees and Bayes tree. Get the result is:the relationship of Melanocorypha and Eremophila is closed, Calandrella and Galerida have close reiationship, Sturnidae as a family alone, its relationship may closed to the Alaudidae birds; Motacilla alba and Anthus roseatus have the closed relationship; The relationship of Tarsiger and Phoenicurus is closed, Turdus merula and Turdus ruficollis have the closed relationship; The relationship of Sylviidae and Muscicapidae is closed, the relationship of cisticolae is closed to Goldcrestidae. We also analyze the diverge time of these birds, Turdidae birds is the earlist species which was diverged, then the cisticolae、Goldcrestidae、Motacillidae and Alaudidae birds have diverged, the last birds which was diverged is Sturnidae、Sylviidae and Muscicapidae. The results support the conclusion about Zheng Guangmei, Muscicapidae、Turdidae and Sylviidae birds can be independent into three families, and the relationship of Sylviidae and Muscicapidae is closed.we also have the conclusion that Rhopophilus pekinensis and Regulus regulus can be divided out of Sylviidae, and the relationship may closed to Turdidae birds.
