Research On High Railway Landscape Post Environment Impact Assessment Based On GIS

As high-speed railway greatly promotes the region’s rapid economic development, it also has brought greater pressure to the ecological environment. The construction of high-speed railway changes the ecological landscape along the road, natural environment and also causes the loss of the geological or geomorphologic features which affect the ecological balance. As the environmental awareness and the aesthetic faculties for the people has increased over the years, the requirements for the railways and other civil engineering on the landscape has becoming higher and higher. So naturally, the landscape construction of the high-speed railway has become an important part of the high-speed railway construction.This thesis is based on the National Science Foundation of China (50578160) and Study of the Landscape Designing for Jing-Hu High-speed Railway (2008G032-12) which is the major projects of the national Jing-Hu high-speed railway and also the sub research project of the technological program of Ministry of Railways. Considering of the question that whether the high-speed railway landscape can achieve the desired results after the completion of the railway construction, the author did the following research work:First of all, this paper summarized and concluded the basic concepts and theories involved in the landscape post evaluation of the high-speed railway construction.Secondly, the author did a detailed classification of high-speed railway Landscape and figured out post evaluation index system of the high-speed railway Landscape which is suitable for evaluation method in this paper according to the characteristics of high-speed railway landscape. Meanwhile, after analyzing and summarizing the method of post evaluation and high-speed railway landscape evaluation, the feasible research method was set based on the landscape sensitivity and general post evaluation model of landscape quality as well as the assisted assessment by GIS.Thirdly, the GIS-based program for high-speed railway landscape post evaluation has been initially based through the secondary development by using Visual Basic2005and ArcEngine9.2. Combined with the analyzing GIS spatial function and the data processing function of SQL Server2005, this program provide assisted assessment to the post evaluation of high-speed railway landscape along the way.Finally, the paper did the post assessment on the construction of the Dingyuan section in Jing-Hu high-speed railway and then put forward a series of suggestions and feasible measures for the protection of this road.
