Jinzhou oilfield is a kind of fault block oil field of complex geological conditionsand oil reservoir types, whose fault displacement spreads from more than ten metersto several hundred metres away.In this area,different grades of faults crisscross,faultsspace messy, buried depths of reservoir differ greatly, reservoir sedimentarycharacteristics are different from each other and the development is not stable.Thesefactors made it difficult to do the conventional surface seismic and geologic research.This paper is mainly based on the information of applied VSP(vertical seismic profile),seismic data and well-logging, comprehensively utilize methods of geophysicalprospecting and mine geology through construction, sedimentation and reservoiranalysis to complete the reservoir prediction and evaluation of Jin36area.In this area, poor quality3D seismic data and rapid lateral variation of reservoirto a large extent restrict some aporias like regional tectonic interpretation accuracyand thin reservoir.Therefore reliable speed parameters are picked up through VSP todo the accurate calibration of layers, which greatly improves the accuracy of seismicdata processing and interpretation and identify the tectonic evolution of this area. Usesynthetic VSP logging data and seismic records to establish the relationship betweenlog sequence and seismic sequence to analyse the sedimentary environment andestablish sedimentary facies pattern, then to obtain the distribution features ofdepositional systems.Under the drilling material constraints, referencing to theproduction dynamic information to bring about fine structure interpreting and furtherwave impedance inversion research,whose achievement of inversion shows goodguidelines for sand body correlation and prediction of favorable reservoir.Through theconstruction, inversion and sedimentary reservoir analysis of the entire workarea,draw such analysis,this paper finally predict sand bodies distribution and itprovides reliable basis for reservoir evaluation and well placement.
