Following seismic stratigraphy and sequence stratigraphy, there has been a new emerged edge inter-discipline---seismic sedimentology. The theoretical breakthrough of seismic sedimentology is to re-understand the diachronism of seismic event. The study of turbidite has been a very active area, and exploration and development of turbidite oil field displayed a rapid growth trend in the past20years. With the development of the oil and gas exploration, it is a more profound understanding that the turbidite sandstones have become the most potential target of the exploration with its favorable reservoir-cap combination.Based on previous research and exploration practice, using the seismic data, this paper gives full play to the advantage of the relationship between well logs and seismic data, the author described the type and the characteristics of turbidite zones in three aspects in detail:seismic response characteristics, sedimentation and reservoir characteristics. Meanwhile, with sequence stratigraphy and more advanced seismic sedimentology theory as a guide, the author made comprehensive use of seismic data, well logging and core data, and then the author reprocessed the seismic data based on Dip-Steering. After that, the author applied the seismic data which had been reprocessed to track the high accuracy horizon on the basis of Data-Driven. And then the author did the wheeler transformation in order to build the isochronous stratigraphic framework. After building isochronous stratigraphic framework, the author can use a great variety of techniques such as seismic attributes to predict favorable reservoir zone and the spatial distribution of turbidite. The results from the study have proved that the approaches are valid and better results have been achieved. This paper describes the results of seismic attribute analysis under the isochronous stratigraphic framework in the study area, summarize the method of building isochronous stratigraphic framework and develop the process of seismic attribute analysis under this framework.Through the study of this paper, we can make sure the distribution of turbidite in the study area, form a set of new working methods and technical processes of turbidite reservoir prediction in mature areas, and provide a solid foundation for in-depth knowledge and revaluation of turbidite.
