Sulige gas area is a lithologic gas reservoir with low permeability.The reservoirhas strong heterogeneity and lithology is complex,Therefore the identification of gasand water layer and the correct understanding of gas and water”s distribution isdifficult. So the correct use of gas reservoirs and water recognition methods, and cleartype and distribution characteristics of formation water, for rational development,Sue’s gas field has important significance. Based on the studies of former researcherson the west of Sulige gas area,combining well log、core、gas testing、data of waterquality analysis and production performance character of the research area,acomprehensive research on reservoir physical property、distribution of sand bodies、identification of gas and water zone,distribution characteristics of gas andwater,achieve some results and cognitions such as:1、Basis on gas production testing、water recognition methods and productionperformance character,water production type of the east of Sulige is divided intonormal formation water、ontzilte formation water、raffinate; cations are mainly withNa++K+and Ca2+,followed by Mg2+,the concentration of Na++K+and Ca2+haveno difference in the same group;anion is mainly with, The anion concentrationsdifference is bigger with the focus on the characteristics of the anionic components. Inthis study we consider that reservoir formation preservation conditions is good in thisregion.2. Use core and microslide data to analyze,the types of reservoir are mainly lithicquartz sandstone and lithic sandstone, the interstitial material is mainly with claymineral,followed by kiesel and carbonate;the type of porosity of reservoir is mainlywith primary intergranular pores、 dissolved pore、intercrystal pore and a smallamout of micro-cracks;the porosity of reservoir is mainly distributed in4.0%~12.0%,A maximum of15.2%, minimum value is2.2%, and the average of8.74%,the permeability is mainly distributed in0.100mD~0.8mD,A maximum of30.35mD, minimum value is0.041mD, and the average of1.0mD,low permeability and lowporosity characteristics are showed.3. According to cores, flakes and logging data, established distinguishingcriterion to identify sand-mud stone of the study area;On the basis of discriminationof sand-mud stone,censused the sand height of single wells,drawing sand thicknessmaps; analyzed and considered that sand bodies are ribbon and banded distribution,the sand bodiesin extended river direction continue better, the sand bodies incross-section direction continue worse due to the blocking of both sides of theriver Bay mudstone mudstone; the sand bodies of the the second section of Shanxiformation is development than the first one.4. Use the crossplot and Multiple discriminant method to separated dry layersfrom the permeable layers firstly according to Logging data,gas test data and theproduction of dynamic data; In the permeable layers in the region, make effectivelyrecognitions about gas and water layers using cross plots, formation water-porositymethod, the elastic modulus difference ratio, Graphical scale method and multiplediscriminant method.The result shows that that crossplot, formationwater-porosity,elastic modulus difference ratio and multiple discriminant methods canbe used to identify gas and water layers in east of Sulige region.5. Discrimination of low resistance gas reservoir for part of the identificationprocess of the air-water layer is not applicable to the above method; the causes of lowresistivity gas are discussed, Analysts believe that the main reasons for the areacaused by low resistivity gas: are complcated pore structure、high immobile watersaturation additional clay conductivity.6. According to the results of gas water recognition、 water chemistry and thecharacter of sand body exhibition to analyse the distribution of Gas-Watercharacteristics, from horizontal of profile features, gas water is divided into isolatedgas water reservoir,from vertical lenticular water is formed by tight layer,From thesurface exhibition, scattered water is not continuous in the study area,the water bodyof P1s23,within-channel deposit influence,there is no unified gas/water interface ofgas reservoir,combine with previous research,the water of this area is relativecentralized water、lenticular water.,...
