Photonic crystal is an optical material arranged periodicity by media of different refractive index, it is used widely because of the character of photonic band gap. With in-depth study of photonic crystals, if add metal in the medium, metal and dielectric will array periodicity. It can constitute one-dimensional metallic-dielectric photonic crystal, this structure in maintaining the properties of photonic crystals and also has the characteristics of the metal. So it has a new physical meaning and a good project.Based in designed the structure of visible light one-dimensional metallic-dielectric photonic crystal, this paper used finite-difference time-domain by the way of two different metals insert. It simulation studied the influence of the photonic crystal structure parameters on property of photonic band gap. The results show that:1) Band gap was increasing with the increasing of the metal plasma frequency, the metal collision frequency had no significant effect on band gap.2) The way of metal insert and the changed of the structural number period has no significant effect on band gap, with the rise of the number of cycles, the maximum transmittance of band gap outer reduced.3) The width of band gap was increasing with the metal thickness increased, band gap center red-shifted with media thickness increased.4) Single medium refractive index increased, the position of center band red-shifted.
