The WB-SB field in Indonesia is one part of the Indonesia project of CNODC. There arecomplex faults, multiple sedimentary facies types with this reservior, it needs to be describedcomprehensively and detailedly to built the3D model, and analyzed its character ofdistribution and variation in2D and3D. This study has an important affect in adjusting thedevelopment plan.It is significant to replace old oil fields,making sure the Indonesia projectcompany producte stable and sustainable.This study was guided by the Sedimentary Petrology, Petroleum Geology, UndergroundGeophysical, Logging Data Process and Interpretation Theory,and combined with core,masterlog,seismic,DST and production data,etc.From the mico and micro,the static and dynamic,combining multi-disciplinary and domains, we carried out the stratigraphic correlation. Usingthe method of well-seismic calibrate, the LTAF formation of the WB-SB field which isaffected by the granite ancient uplift has being divided into A1,A2and B layers. Synthesizethe regional sedimentary background, previous research results, facies of logging sedimentaryand cores to determine the study area develops braided fluvial river delta plain and subseaapron facies,and braided fluvial river delta plain divided into channel,interchannel and levee.Main reservoirs of oil&gas accumulation are braided and distributary channels sand which isthe deposition of braided delta. Fine logging interpretation model and reservoir parameterscut-off in different lithology are built by studying four property relationships (lithology,electric, physical and hydrocarbon),the effective reservoir porosity in sand is12%while inconglomerate is15%.SW is60%.Based on DST result and logging interpretation,there are3oil-gas-water systems in WB-SB field that is subject to layer reservoir type with edge andbottom water.With3D visualization technology and Petrel soft, stucture modeling is builtunder controlling of the seismic horizontal interpretation, faults modeling and well tops byintrapolated and extrapolated methods. Facies modeling is built using Sequential IndicatorSimulation method with single well facies trend. Porosity modeling is based on the faciesmodel using SGS method. Permeability modeling is based on the porosity model usingcollocated-cokriging. Building of3D geological model, we get the information of reservoircharacteristic in3D space. Based on the study results, we proposed potential interval for17and completed the potential area research,put forward8new wells location. All of these areprovided with reliable base geological data for development program study of oil field.
