Presently the proved gas in place of SULIGE gas field has achieved a tremendous scale, the reservoir was featured with high heterogeneity and complex superimposed model of sand body. The traditional method of reservoir description can't meet the need of development design since insufficient well density at the early stage of gas field development. Hence, the advanced reservoir stochastic modeling technology was introduced into precise geologic modeling of SU6 block of SULIGE gas field. It was a useful trying for predicting reservoir distribution that deposited in braided fluviatile environment.After studying and analyzing stochastic modeling theory, the process of geologic modeling that was suitable for geologic feature of SULIGE gas field was established based on abundant geostatistical analysis. The sedimentary facies model is simulated by marked point process simulation algorithm first, and then the distribution of physical parameter is simulated by Sequential Gaussian simulation algorithm within each facies. Consequently the three dimension geologic model of SU6 well region in SULIGE gas field was established. The transformation of fluviatile facies sand body of SULIGE gas field and the distribution heterogeneity of physical parameter in it can be well character by the model, and the result also was used to optimized the plan for development of the SULIGE gas field.This paper provides a practical technology that can develop discontinuity, isolated lenticular sand body in SULIGE gas field effectively.
