Recently, the existence of positive solutions for differential equations boundary value problems has been studied by many authors. In chapter1of this thesis, the author give the summary about this problem. In chapter2, in order to research a third order boundary value problems, we build a new Banach space and a new cone.In chapter3, we consider the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for the following singular third order boundary value problems where α,β≥0,α+β>0,Φ(t) is singular at t=0or t=1. At last, we use Fixed Point Theorem to obtain the existence of multiple positive solutions. In chapter4, we consider the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for the following singular third order boundary value problems where α,β≥0,α+β>0,f is singular at x=0. By using different assumptions, we get the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for the singular third order boundary value problems.
