At present, in the development and utilization of oil and gas resources, the development ofconventional porous oil and gas reservoir becomes increasingly difficult. Exploration depthchanges from shallow to deep, type from conventional to exceptional. Fracture of buried hills isone of main factors of controlling oil and gas abundance. The accuracy of fracture forecastrestricted result of exploration and development of oil and gas resources. Based on finite elementtheory, study distribution laws of tectonic stess field in the Damintun depression by thenumerical simulation, combining with multidisciplinary theoryrock, such as mechanics, geology, get distribution laws of tectonic fracture layer of buried hills, and forecast oil and gasenrichment zone by the theory of oil and gas migration. The simulation results of tectonic stessfield show that characteristics of distribution area is obvious in the plane, mode of action andstrength of tectonic stess field decide nature, distribution characteristics, the fracture directionand development densityof the main fault in the area. Fracture is forecasted with rock rupturevalues and energy values, which is more fully than single index in the fracture developmentdegree, inproving forecasting results. Considering structure, the simulation of tectonic stressfield, fracture forecast and the migration of oil and gas, the oil region is forecasted in theDamintun depression, that displays consistent by contrasting actual capacity, which providesscientific basis for the prediction of enrichment zone for oil and gas and deployment of favorabledrilling wells in the area.
