The land surface temperature is a key index for the research on surface energy balance.The research on surface temperature plays an important role in regional agriculture production.YiTong river basin became one of the zones significantly affected by the human activity alongwith the development of social economic. Therefore, researching the surface temperature onYiTong river basin will do favor to guide regional agriculture production and lighten theurban heat island effect in local area.In the field of remote sensing,, using thermal infrared remote sensing as a method toinverse the surface temperature. that there are much work which National and foreignresearchers have done.The land surface temperature is retrieved form Thermal infrared;there are manymethods;mono-window algorithm,split-window algorithm,multi-window algorithm. Inthese methods,the mono-window algorithm is extensive used. Thereare three important parameters which are average atmospheric temperature, the transmittanceof atmosphere and surface emissivity.In this paper, the YiTong river basin was selected as the study area. By gatheringmulti-temporal Landsat TM/ETM remote sense data and climate-related data, for datasources. the author uses one of the surface temperature inversio n methods---signal-channelmethods to inverse the surface temperature of YiTong river basin from1993to2005. The landcover types’ data of YiTong river basin can be made based on multi-temperature Landsat TM/ETM remote sense data. The author analyzes the relationship between surface temperatureand landscape and the relationship between surface temperature and vegetation index byapplying GIS spatial analysis, fractal dimension method and landscape pattern analysis.Therefore a related conclusion can be made:(1) The Yitong River basin land surface temperature changes and the regional land coverchanges in consistency, when land cover changes occurring in the area, the surfacetemperature also produced apparent change. During the period of the surface temperaturerise. Changchun city spatial expansion causes the nature of the underlying surface change,Changchun city space increases the region, the region is a corresponding increase in the rangeof surface temperature.(2) The surface temperature of the profile line fractal dimension andthe human activity and the landscape diversity is related. The surface temperature of theprofile line fractal dimension value is increasingly big, affected by human activitiessignificantly. Landscape diversity is greater.(3) The different landscape combination forreducing the surface temperature has certain effect, the landscape diversity to alleviate andreduce the surface temperature of the role in the city and countryside is different.
