Considering the geology of certain area of the Daqing Oil Field, This Article explores therational geologic model by Sequential indicator modeling method, choosing Variogramreasonably and combining geological understanding with log data.This paper mainly expound the research and application of the principle of the sequentialindicator modeling method. The main work is establishing facies models and petrophysicalmodels of four depositional environment in researched area of the Daqing Oil Field. Thispaper focuses on the following three aspects:①Based on the distribution of the well and thelogging data, we calculate the parameters of experiment variogram, such as search radius,band and so on. Then we obtained the parameter table of the experiment variogram.②According to the results of the experiment variogram to select the suitable theory variogramtype. Understanding the material source direction of the researched area,we determine thedirection of the variogram. According to the process of fitting experiment variogram, weobtained the parameter table of the variogram.③The brief flow of determining experimentalvariogram is presented.This paper are using geological understanding and logging data, choosing sequentialindicator simulation for phase modeling. The main research contents are as follows:1. Establish the structure model of the researched area using geological understandingand logging data.2. Calculate the parameters of the experiment variogram about the four depositionalenvironment. Using sequential indicator modeling method simulates the spread trend of thefacies about the four depositional environment.3. Using facies controlled modeling method conducts the property modeling on this basis.And we analysis and evaluate the results.4. Calculate reserves and analysis the uncertainty about the result.5. Make a vacuate test to verify the geological model.The result proves that, the facies models obtained by sequential indicator modelingmethod can well display the spread trend of all kinds of sand body. And the results arecorrespond to the actual geological status.
