Canzhuang Gold Mine, located in the northwest of Shandong Peninsula, is one ofthe typical epithermal altered rock type deposits, whose main mining area isShangzhuang diggings. The orebody controlled by the Wang’er Mountain fault, thebranch of the Jiaojia fracture, occurs in the contact zone between the Guojialinggranodioriteand Linglong granite. The mining area is characterized by the largescalepotassic feldspathization and sericitization development.The SWIR technology can not only quickly and effectively tell the lowertemperature alteration minerals, but also obtain the alteration information associatedwith mineralization. Research on SWIR spectral characteristics in Shangzhuangdiggings is expected to show the alteration data of while mica influenced by goldmineralization in order to provide a basis for looking for some similar section in theregion.BJKF-1portable shortwave infrared mineral analyzer, which is developed by theNanjing Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources, is used as the test instrument inthis research. The characteristic parameters of twelve transverse drifts and one drillcore sample is obtained according to the scanning results of Shangzhuan undergroundmine. Moreover, the typomorphic characteristic of gold mineralized muscovitealteration minerals in shortwave infrared wavelength is summarized here. The finalresult shows that, the:peak drift values ranges from2208nm to2216nm, the peakintensity value is more than0.35, the peak ratio value is more than1.0; when the:peak drift values ranges from2216nm to2228nm, the peak intensity value is morethan1.0, the peak ratio value is more than0.45. Both characteristic parameters abovepresent that the area with gold mineralization contains phengite with high degree ofcrystallinity features. By using shortwave length infrared spectroscopy identificationtechnology, some gold mineralization related monomineral is found: Illite andQuartz;Mineral association: Muscovite+Illite±Quartz, Muscovite+Illite+Montmorillonite±Quartz, Illite+Montmorillonite±Quartz, Illite+Montmorillonite+Kaolinite±Quartz, which represents that if the gold mineraliztionarea grow with silicification, or locate near the silici-sulfide range, the illite could befound with high appearance rate. Furthermore, the area gold mineralized degree isincreased with large percentage of illite content.
