The deep groundwater depth and lacking of water resources is common in theEast Sichuan barrier-type anticline. In recent years, the building of over mountain linetunnels and large scale mining of coal mine, leading to groundwater dry up in the Liebetween block type anticline. The residents’ production and living water becomesincreasingly difficult. Therefore, it is practical significance to strengthen the EasternSichuan barrier-type anticline groundwater flow system studies, master ofgroundwater flow characteristics, and then take the appropriate measures, rationaldevelopment and protection of groundwater resources.The study area contains16NE-SW or near SN trending interlaid karst anticlinesfrom west to east. The thesis study tectonic and sedimentary cycles to judge theconstruction characteristics, according to the research area of natural and geographicalconditions, geological structure, lithology and other conditions, have a clearunderstanding of the storage and runoff environment to the anticlines. Then Statisticaldistribution regularity of karst space, combined lithological characteristics throughtypical anticline profiles, deducing groundwater’s storage medium characteristics ofEast Sichuan interlaid karst anticlines. With the groundwater outcrop features andhydrochemical characteristics, taking the vertical zoning of groundwater flow system,studying the superficial groundwater, shallow groundwater, deep cycle karst watersystem runoff. Based on the cutting degree and the combination relationship of riversand anticline, the groundwater runoff model is divided into three categories: completetype anticline, unilateral river cutting through type anticline and bilateral riverscutting through type anticline. Associated to regularities of distribution of karststratums, discuss the different strata’s groundwater runoff.T1j is the most thickness and largest limestone stratum in East Sichuan interlaidkarst anticlines, its karst space and permeability is good, and usually captured overlying T2l dolomite formation’s groundwater. In addition, there are several karststratums such as T2l and J1-2z3+5. After accepting atmospheric precipitation recharge,T1j stratum most likely to form shallow groundwater, draining through deep valleysand rivers in the form of turbulent flow. J1-2z3+5stratum’s groundwater mostly show aslaminar flow, draining through gully and river by levels of runoff. T2l stratum iscommon with T1j and J1-2z3+5, then constantly to recharge the underlying strata of T1j.On the whole, the shallow groundwater runoff and drainage under the control oflocal impermeable layers and surficial gullys, is randomness and variability. Shallowgroundwater’s runoff under the control of the water system drainages, have thecharacteristics of bedding migration characteristics, each of the various water-richlayers of the anticline is independence. Deep cycle of karst water runoff by reservoirstructure’s categories and karst space’s control, occasionally exposed on the surfaceby the fault’s cutting, runoff way to be changed. According to the water chemistry,isotopic data and the elevation of karst formations’ outcropping, the anticlines ofTaoZiDang and FengShengChang’s groundwater is come from ShiLin, QiJiang, andthe other anticlines’ groundwater come from Dabashan mountain arcuate fold belt.Complete type anticline’s shallow groundwater mostly draining by gullies withlevels of runoff, a large number of shallow groundwater migrate to the deep layer,feeding deep circulating hot water, then converted to levels of runoff with slowflowing. Unilateral rivers cutting through type anticline’s groundwater mostly flowingfrom plunging part of the anticline to the river to drain, the other permeate to the deepgroundwater runoff. Bilateral rivers cutting through type anticline’s groundwatermostly draining into the both end river, the rest permeate to the deep groundwaterrunoff. Some of J1-2z3+5stratum’s groundwater running into gully and rivers withlevels of runoff, the other permeate into the deep and participate in the deepgroundwater runoff. T2l stratum’s groundwater is not only flowing into gully andrivers, but also feeding the T1j stratum. The groundwater of T1j stratum is migratingalong the axis of the anticline with pipe flow, drainining at rivers or gullies. Littlegroundwater is draining into deep aquifers, converting to deep groundwater runoff.
