With the deepening of the exploration with public welfare and commercial,Gangdese metallogenic belt becomes more and more attention of scholars at home andabroad. Xiongcun copper-gold deposit was another large copper-gold depositdiscovered in the Gangdese metallogenic belt, which formed in the island arcenvironment as a result of the northward subduction of Neo-Tethyan and mainlyconsisted of three orebodies: Ⅰ,Ⅱand Ⅲ,among them, the Ⅰand Ⅱorebodies haverelatively hig degree of control and research. Ⅰorebody has typical characteristics ofporphyry copper deposits rich with gold in island arc environment, Ⅱand Ⅲorebodyare low-grade porphyry copper-gold deposits.Ⅱorebody has been proven ore copperresources1.344Mt、associated gold resources about76.3t and associated silverresources about193t; Ⅲ orebody is at the prospecting stage, which is expected to reachmore than medium-scale.Taking the tectonic position particularity of Xiongcun copper and gold depositand the difference in mineral assemblages、host rock、mineralization、wall-rockalteration and so on between Ⅰand Ⅱorebody into account, the comparative studybetween Ⅰand Ⅱorebody has great significance which can not only define oregenesis, but also can be extended to comparision between the reduction and oxidationporphyry deposits, thus provide prospecting ideas for the entire Gangdese metallogenicbelt prospecting. In the support of typical deposit study on Niutongmen Copperdeposit(Xiongcun Ⅱorebody),Xietongmen country,Tibet、on the background onoxidizing and reducing porphyry deposits and on the basis of full summary of thegeological setting and the extensive collection of research-based information, tectonicsetting、mineralization-related rock、 petrogenesis and mineralization epoch、ore output location、type of deposit、 wall rock alteration、 mineralization、typicalmineral content、vein characteristics、metallogenic fluid composition and magneticanomalies between orebodyⅠand Ⅱ were respectively compared in the thesis, amongthem, the magnetite mineralogy inⅡorebody and fluid inclusions in orebodyⅠandⅡare emphasized. By comparing, the thesis finally draw a conclusion that Ⅰorebody issimilar with reducing porphyry copper deposit, however Ⅱorebody is similarwithoxidizing porphyry copper deposit.
