As human society over-reliance on traditional fossil fuels, the energy and environ-mental crises has come to worldwide. Wave energy as a clean, renewable energy gradu-ally gets attentions, Floating body sheave wave power device is a new floating shock float power generation technology, which utilizes a floating body sheave institutions to collect energy from the waves, with a simple structure, low cost of laying manufacturing maintenance, and higher power generation efficiency. This paper focuses on the transmission system of the the floating body sheave wave power device. From the four aspects such as theoretical analysis, design and cal-culation, simulation studies and terrestrial analog test, the author studied the transmis-sion system of the the floating body sheave wave power device.Thesis studies are as follows:1. Based on the wave theory, the author analyses the law of motion of the floating body in waves, and describes the structure and power generation principle of the the floating body sheave wave power device.2. In this article, the hydraulic drive system of the floating body sheave wave power device was designed, and the kinematic model of the floating body sheave mechanism was established, then the author made use of the the Matlab numerical ana-lytical method and the Adams modeling and simulation method to analyse the law of motion of the reel. At last, computer simulation analysis of the designed hydraulic drive system was finished based on AMEsim software.3. Terrestrial analog test pulling platform was designed based on the previous work and the linear statics and modal analysis of the main steel structure of the test platform have finished based on finite element software ANSYS Workbench.4. After all design work was completed, the designed transmission system was car-ried out the principle verification test and efficiency test, and the transmission system performance were analyzed and summarized based on test results.
