The strata in the study area, structure strongly, the complexity and diversity ofmagmatic rocks, metamorphic rocks and other rocks, rich in mineral resources. Thestudy put modern stratigraphy, petrology, ore deposit geology, sedimentology,structural geology theory as a guide, based on geological route survey, profilemeasurement system based, The study used the integrated information and digitalmapping technology, and combining with the analysis of geological background. I fullycollect and study of available geological, geophysical, geochemical, and remotesensing data. Geology theory, advanced technology,and test methods has been used inthe study of Quaternary Sedimentary Characteristics and placer gold mineralization.After full theoretical research and field investigation and laboratory analysis andremote sensing image analysis, to study the study area deposition and its controllingfactors, the the gold placer point of the Quaternary characteristics and control factorsanalysis of research.This study is mainly research the Hoh Xil Tuotuohe Quaternary sedimentarycharacteristics,divided Quaternary stratigraphic units and analysis of its genetic type,The area along the river valley and the main stream of Quaternary Lake Basin, dividedinto: Middle Pleistocene, late Pleistocene glacial outwash, lacustrine, alluvial, as wellas the Holocene moraines, outwash, lacustrine, alluvial, swamp deposit, through theanalysis of control factors on the Quaternary sedimentary, illustrates the influence ofthe new the tectonic movement and ancient climate in Quaternary sediments.To study and control sand gold distribution factors in the study area, study theplacer gold deposit in the study area from the sand gold source, tectonic, magmaticactivity, topography, climate and dynamic control factors. Most of placer gold in theQuaternary ice indebted, eluvial, alluvial-diluvial layer was found whitch near the granodiorite, granite rock mass, the closer the enrichment. The study found that theplacer gold deposits in the alluvial deposits of the river, about one meter deep, and themining sites gully position upstream of the majority. The study found that the regiongold placer points are located in the in-small undulating mountain valley, consideringthe shorter transport distance, the handling of the placer gold enrichment have the mostdirect relationship with the high-altitude alpine desert arid climate here. Our studyfound that the region gold placer is near sources accumulation, mineralizationcharacteristics also has other features such as small but rich.
