Punan fault block as one of the old areas of Daqing oilfield, has been from theprospection stage to the development stage, so the reservoir prediction accuracy have higherrequirements.The text from the structural interpretation to the inversion prediction, introducesthe development trend of reservoir prediction and the domestic and foreign research situation.Analysis of the detailed structure interpretation process, comparison of different inversionmethods, to find the most suitable project for the study area, and reservoir prediction at last.In the early stage of the structural interpretation, combined with the seismic data,geological data and well logging data to detailed interpreta the area of Punan fault blockPutaohua formations of11strata, using high resolution coherent body technique implementethe small faults distribution, and describe the characteristics of microstructure in the region,draw up the fine tectonic map of11layers, get the structural characteristics of objective layer.According to the actual conditions of the study area, the formation of thin interbedded. Firstly,dispose of the logging curves, and sensitivity analysis of logging parameters and do a seriesof inversion experiments, found that RL3D can well differentiate sandstone and mudstone, sousing RL3D curve fitting wave impedance reconstruction. Secondly, according to thecondition of many faults in the study area, and for the potential exploitation area, so selectthe inversion modeling method with faults. Finally, according to the comparative analysis ofdifferent inversion methods, and combined with the characteristics of the study area, usinggeostatistical inversion method, both to ensure the continuity of transverse and high verticalresolution, this method can describe spatial distribution of reservoirs in the study area,effective identification of thin layer, the inversion results are more reliable, which can be usedto predict the distribution of the sedimentary units of sand body morphology, and divide thefavorable region, proposed encryption well location deployment, provide favorable supportfor oil exploration.
