When a destructive earthquake occurred, a wealth of earthquake disasterinformation and accurate seismic intensity map is the basis of earthquake emergencyrescue. With the rapid development and popularization of the internet, more and morepeople published earthquake related information on the internet, every network mediacovered special reports about earthquake information timely, the internet quicklyassembled abundant disaster information, it had become an important channel foracquiring earthquake disaster information. This paper studied the method that how toget earthquake disaster information from internet by studying the past internetearthquake disaster information, by establishing an intelligent processing model ofinternet earthquake disaster information, we can transform unstructured disasterinformation into structured disaster information on the internet. In addition, bycombining the internet earthquake disaster information with seismic intensity, seismicintensity can be determined to modify the rapid intensity determination results in theearthquake emergency period.There are three aspects to be mainly discussed in this paper. First, this papercombined the need of earthquake emergency practical work to study the earthquakedisaster information classifications from the internet, and collected the historicalinternet earthquake disaster information to study and analyse. The paper studied themethod that how to get disaster information from internet, including the keywords, theinternet source, the time interval and the key technologies for the earthquake disasterinformation acquisition. The paper studied the place name extraction andclassification from the earthquake disaster text information which got from internet byusing meta search technology, it also established an intelligent processing model ofinternet earthquake disaster information, extracted place name information fromdisaster text information, it was divided into nine categories, it provided the datareference for the earthquake emergency work. Second, there was abundant internetdisaster information of the Wenchuan earthquake for data basis to study seismicintensity determined method, the internet disaster information processed by placenames extraction and disaster classification. In these classifications, the building damage, the secondary disaster, and the felt information could provide with the databasis to determine the seismic intensity, according to China’s seismic intensitystandards and Earthquake field survey specification, we found the relations betweenthe internet earthquake disaster information and seismic intensity, and studied themethod that internet disaster information automatic determined the seismic intensity,it provided the modifying data basis to the seismic intensity rapidly determined in theearthquake emergency period. In this paper, using the intensity for spatialinterpolation analysis to fit earthquake affected area, it provided decision reference forthe earthquake emergency work. Third, the paper designed the data storage structurefor getting and processing the internet earthquake disaster information, and alsodesigned overall structure of the procedure for program implementation. Thealgorithm about internet earthquake disaster information process and seismic intensitydetermination was developed with the help of Eclipse in Java. The paper selected theLushan earthquake to confirm and analyse the research results.
