Rapid acquisition and processing of earthquake disaster, which canprovidescientific basis for decision making, is an important part of the earthquakeemergency response. And it can also help us to know the disater, control andelimination of the social alarm. Along with the continuous development of GIS andwireless network, such as GSM and3G, this paper carried out the research ofearthquake information acquisition and processing based on SMS and GIS.This paper focused on the SMS of earthquake disaster. There are three aspects tobe mainly discussed. First, research on coding of the earthquake SMS, second, toidentify the suitable interpolation method of earthquake simulation, third, developearthquake disaster report sofeware based on Android system and earthquake SMSacquisition and processing system.The paper firstly reviewed the current research of the related fields. And on thisbasis, in order to make full use of the information function of SMS and obtain morecomprehensive information after earthquake, based on the introduction and analysisof existing SMS code of disaster and the earthquake phenomena, this paper discussedthe principle and way of SMS coding. The earthquake phenomena were classified byLine Classification, and the judge signs of every classification were determined. Then,the SMS code which could be used by professionals and non-professionals wasdesigned based on the result of classification. In the end, this paper brought up how touse these SMS codes of disaster and elaborated its significance in the field ofearthquake emergency.At the same time, this paper also studied how to improve the simulation accuracyof earthquake disaster based on earthquake SMS. Previous surveys and observationsof destructive earthquake damage indicate that topography had a significant influenceon earthquake disaster. After the earthquake, in order to provide the distribution ofearthquake damage timely and accurately for Earthquake Relief Headquarters, inreference to the concept of Geostatistics, we performed spatial simulation for thedisaster area using the earthquake disaster SMS, which were provided by the quickreporters of disaster during Wenchuan earthquake and Yushu earthquake, and tookessential geomorphologic factors (e.g., elevation, slope that obtained from DEM) into Co-Kriging interpolation. The results obtained by different ways of spatialinterpolation and different semi-variogRam models of Geostatistics methods werecompared, which indicated that with the help of suitable model and parameter,Co-Kriging interpolation with the consideration of slope can increase the accuracy ofdisaster simulation. This method provides a new and feasible idea for earthquakedisaster simulation during the emergency.Finally, according to the technology processes of earthquake SMS acquisitionand processing, this paper designed earthquake SMS acquisition and processingsystem based on computer and earthquake disaster report sofeware based on Androidphone. And this paper also developed the core function of the programs mentionedabove. The former was developed with the help of Vs2005in C#and SGIP, the latterwas developed with the help of Eclipse in Java.
