High accuracy magnetic survey can be used directly and indirectly in solid mineral exploration. The theories and approach of high accuracy magnetic survey are used to do research on the magnetic data of Aguimiao area, mainly for the interpretation and inference of magnetic anomaly data.As it can be seen from the magnetic anomaly contour map of the study area: there are large area of negative anomalies in the study area. The direction of negative anomaly is north-east and the highest value is 742.7nT, and the highest value of positive anomaly is 294.7nT in the study area. The performance of magnetic anomalies are low-stable, reflecting that the magnetic change of the region surrounding is not strong and small, as same as the magnetic measurements results of the rock which collect from the study area, but there are positive and negative anomalies areas on the east edge of the Gunhudouge part, while the north region shows weak positive anomalies. One third area of the east part of the Aguimiao is the western extension of the negative anomalies of the Gunhudouge part, and the rest is the positive anomalies accompanied with the negative anomalies area, with clear direction and north-east performance.Magnetic anomalies in this area are mainly distributed in the southwest corner, central and north-eastern corner of the area, showing zonal distribution, and there are three magnetic anomalies,Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲwhich are numbered from south to north. The magnetic anomalies have clear direction, and its distribution is closely related to formation and construction, mainly in Agulugouzu Formation (for most) and Zenglongchang Formation of the Proterozoic Cha’ertaishan group. Anomaly border is strictly controlled by stratigraphic boundary, the anomaly direction is north-east.The spatial analysis toolkit of MapGIS is used to produce an overlay map of the following factors: the preferable stratums for ores, the geochemical anomalies of certain element and the magnetic anomalies of the study area. According to the overlay map, one area is selected as the ore target area, which provides certain clues for the further work.
