As the rapid development of mineral resources prospecting and exploration in China, now the main target for prospecting is changing to the concealed deposits. It is very urgent for us to increase the exploration degree and find new exploration techniques. As one of geochemical exploration techniques in covered area, Geogas survey has greatly developed in recent years and shows great prospects in this field.Because of different coverage in the Inner Mongolia steppe landscape area, the regular soil geochemical exploration methods can’t play an important role in middle-large scale mineral exploration. Since lack of coarse grain in the soil, using coarse-grain soil survey in this area is also non-effective. Therefore, a new, effective geochemical exploration method is very important. Using Geogas survey method in this area to research its validity, this can not only provide much useful information in different landscape areas, improve the current techniques, but also can reach new achievement in mineral exploration. It has important practical significance.By means of area soil and Geogas geochemical survey, a lot of geochemical data have been got. According to data processing and analyzing, There are some important results. It is the first time to analyse 55 elements in Geogas sample with the HR-ICP-MS instruments. The result proved the way of sampling is available, seizing the metal elements coming from the soil. According to the study of correlation between content and atomic number, It is found that distribution of element for Geogas sample is similar to distribution of elements characteristics of the lithosphere. The map of the metal content in the background-anomaly sample show chalcophile elements in anomaly sample were affected by mineralization. Geogas survey revealed eight mutli-elements association anomalies in the research area, which indicate there is huge potential to find out the concealed mutli-elements deposit in this area. There is a suggestion to carry out the Geogas section check for main anomalies, identifying the presupposition of existing anomaly and drilling test to the anomalies.
