Under the supporting of Natural Science Foundation of Gansu Province, a kind of flexible precision shear device for bar was designed basing on the analysis and research to the existing shearing equipment, according to the problem during actual shearing manufacturing for bar.The structure of precision shear equipment was designed and also parts of that were modeled with 3D engineering design software Pro/Engineer. The shearing equipment was simulated to get the moving status of mould parts with ADAMS. With simulation, the rationality of design for structure was validated. The main work and achievements were listed as below:The basic principle and movement mechanism of accurate shear had been analyzed, and also the main structure of the flexible accurate shear equipment for bar had been brought forward and designed.On the principle of self-sealing, the modular seal structure had been designed so as to have solved the problem of dynamic seal under the high pressure.The geometrical model of accurate shear equipment was built up with engineering software Pro/E, and the assembled model was measured and tested to check assembling interference.Basing on model in Pro/E, the motive simulation model was built up in engineering software ADAMS, and the main structure of accurate shearing equipment was analyzed by movement, mechanical analysisof the main components was done in ANSYS. The structural rationality of accurate shearing equipment was validated, so as to offer gist for the development and application of accurate shearing equipment.
