As new generation of the lightest metal structural material in the industrial product, magnesium alloy has much better recycling properties than tough materials and gets more and more concern because of reducing the car weight and the effect on the environment protection, and gets more and more extensive using in Aero-space,automobile and electronics industry. which has the advantage of low intensity, good electric conduction and transmits heat, high specific strength and stiffness, excellent mach inability, abundant resources and so on. However, the ductility of magnesium alloys is rather poor at room temperature.because crystal structure of magnesium alloy were six-party densely grid type It is difficult to realize a large-scale production of Mg parts through stamping process which greatly restricts their applications in structural field.Because of the excellent performance about magnesium alloy sheet plastic forming products. the magnesium alloy sheet metal forming processes·was received much attention.The major direction of this article is the cylindrical parts drawing process.AZ3l magnesium alloy sheet was the material used in the experiment, The influence of some Processing Parameters in blank drawing to the draw ability of the blank was researched through the drawing experiment of cylindrical specimen.The mechanical property of 3mm thick AZ31 magnesium alloy rolling sheet under different temperatures and tensile speed was studied through uniaxial tensile test. The results of tensile test showed the tensile strength and yield strength was reduced with the increase of tensile temperature and the extending ratio was increased.According to the analytical results of uniaxial tensile curves in a temperature range between room temperature and 350℃in the speed of 2mm/min. the tensile strength and yield strength was increased with the increase of tensile temperature and the extending ratio was not obvious at 200℃.We have designed a deep drawing mold and mould heating units for the cylindrical parts warm drawing process of AZ3l magnesium alloy sheet .Heating rods were put into the mould to heat them. AC contactor and digital temperature controller were used to set and maintain the temperature.Using the above warm deep drawing test mold of cylindrical parts and the relationship between AZ31magnesium alloy formability and parameters process.The results of warm drawing test showed that drawing properties of magnesium alloy seriously influenced by drawing temperature, drawing velocity, gap between punch and die,round corner of punch and die,and lubricant material. A suitable range of the drawing temperature was 275~350℃A suitable range of the drawing speed was around 4mm/min,at round corner of punch rp = 5mm ,round corner of die rd = 10mm, gap between punch and die Z=1.l·t.
