In recent years, with the rapid development of automobile industry, the develop technology ofautomobile covering panel became a persistent hot-point of academe and engineering. The key ofdevelop technology of automobile covering panel is panel forming technique-covering panel stampingdie technology. In the covering panel stamping process design, the drawbead layout and the design ofaddendum always be the important aspect of the covering panel stamping process design. they havegreat influence on covring panel forming quality and utilization ratio and so forth.The traditional drawbead design method based on past experience, this method always containmuch subjectivity, thus in the die tryout phase, the drawbead always need alter and polish time aftertime, prolong the manufacture circle and increase the cost seriously. In order to design drawbeadreasonably, this paper proposed a drawbead optimized design method, and using real part as researchobject, based on proposed metal sheet forming quality evaluate standard, best forming quality as thegoal, optimized the drawbead restrain force and obtained a good result finally.This paper refered to large numbers of foreign and domestic technical material, according to realrequest of stamping process, proposed a covering panel addendum shape optimize method. Thismethod based on metal sheet forming numerical simulation technology, it through evaluate the resultof the metal sheet forming numerical simulation, and combine with covering panel addendumparmaterize design, experimental of design, response surface and numerical optimize algorithm,optimize shape of covering panel addendum. Use this method, the shape of hood inner paneladdendum optimized, obtain a good result and prove validation of the method.The evaluate criterion base on metal sheet forming numerical simulation is the key of theoptimization of stamping process, this paper propose a criterion base on metal sheet formingnumerical simulation. As the standard to evaluate the quality of metal sheet foming numericalsimulation, this criterion applied in several project successfully. Through sveral successful applicationcases, it can prove that evaluate criterion base on metal sheet forming numerical simulation showavailability, high dependable and efficiency in optimization of automobile covering panel stampingprocess.
