With the sustained and rapid economic development in rural areas and generallyspeed up the urbanization process. Various types of industrial enterprises increased,gradually formed a multi-industry type of small towns. However, by the process ofdevelopment in small towns because of more and more types of businesses, wasteemissions increased dramatically, more dispersed sources of pollution and complexcomposition, resulting a significant decline in water quality in small towns. A seriousimpact on small towns sustainable socio-economic development.Underdeveloped economy, scattered emissions, pollution causes of complexproblems, weaked water pollution control infrastructure, lack of technical support areCharacteristics of small towns. Small towns is more suitable for land treatment for it’slow operation cost, simple to manage, process efficiency and stability. However, landtreatment system is sensitive to oils, color, heavy metals and other contaminants, it needto pretreatment these wastewater before they enter to the land treatment system.This paper is a study of pretreatment used restaurant wastewater, printing anddyeing wastewater, electroplating wastewater.surveyed the oil’s concentration of smalland medium restaurant wastewater in small town. The results showed that: theconcentration of oils between156mg/L~485mg/L; Designed a new type of greasetrap use the coarse-grained technology to improve it’s removal efficiency, the resultsshowed that: the grease trap’s removal efficiency is improved by8.5%after using thecoarsee-grained material. solve the color problem of printing and dyeing wastewaterused waste diatomaceous earth, the results showed that: the waste diatomaceous earthstill has adsorption capacity,and it’s adsorption capacity is different to different types ofdyes, the decolorization efficiency is up to90%for cationic (cationic red) dye,theremaining four kinds of dye decolorization efficiency remained at50%.Used wastediatomaceous earth combined with the coagulant to treatment the color problem ofprinting and dyeing wastewater,the amount of coagulant and the cost of treatment werereduced,studied the pretreatment of shuffled electroplating wastewater fromelectroplating of small towns,improved the traditional treatment for electroplating process,the results showed that:the new technology reduced the dosage of acid-base,simplified the operational links,saved the processing costs by0.7yuan per ton.The newtechnology is suitable for electroplating wastewater’s pretreatment of small towns.This study provide the technical support to land treatment which is suitable forsmall towns by pretreatment several types of wastewater.
