With the rapid development of large-scale animal husbandry, livestock producelarge amounts of ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, methane and other toxic gases, affectthe health and growth of livestock seriously, and harm to human. We can removeammonia, hydrogen sulfide and other harmful gases simply and easily by sprayingmicrobial deodorant fundamentally, and reduce the breeding of mosquitoes, providegood growth establishments for the livestock and poultry. We purified two sulfide bacteria, combined with our laboratory pre-favorableconditions for preparation of nitrifying bacteria, used in the biological odor removalof livestock industry. In this paper, the results of the investgation were as follows:(1) In this study, we purified two sulfur bacteria named NC-1and NC-2that canuse inorganic sulfide and thiosulfate. The study shows that they have good removalefficiency on the sulfur ions in solution.(2) The best culture conditions of NC-1:10%of the initial bacteria inoculums, temperature between28to30℃, shaking speed of150rpm, the best initial pH of3~3.5; the best culture conditions of NC-2:10%of the initial bacteria inoculums, temperature of28℃, shaking speed of150rpm, the best initial pH of6.5~7.0.(3) At the best culture conditions, for NC-1,0~20h is the stagnation phase,20~52h is the logarithmic growth phase,52~72h is quiescent phase and after72h isthe decline phase; for NC-2,0~16h is the stagnation phase,16~68h is the logarithmicgrowth phase,68~72h is quiescent phase and after72h is the decline phase.(4) We added different amounts of nitrifying bacteria and sulfur bacteria tochicken droppings, studied the removal on ammonia and hydrogen sulfide gas odor. The results showed that, at the experimental temperature between30~40℃, with theincrease in the amount of bacteria added, the removal of ammonia and hydrogensulfide was more obvious, and the odor removal efficiency of mixed of bacilli issuperior to a single strain.(5) This laboratory-grown bacteria agents were used in the odor removing of pigmanure. The results showed that the agents can reduce fecal odor quickly, and canreduce the breeding of flies. The smaller dilution agents had more obvious effect onodor removal, the experimental group diluted500times was able to reach weak stink level within24hours. Spraying agents can reduce and control the number ofmosquitoes effectively within half an hour that can provide a good breedingenvironment.
