According to the Shanxi provincial government’s policy on the integration of coal resources, Shanxi Province approve restricting of Tai Yuan Wan Bo-lin coal mine closed by various reasons, now named Dong Feng coal. A large part of Dong Feng mine shallow goaf is gradually evolved, because abandoning small kiln is closed in a long time, it leaks most air and leaves large amount of coal. It not only burn a large number of coal, but also impact neighboring layers of coal mining has created largely; at the same time cause incalculable indirect losses, such as the collapse of the ground cause the waste of land resources, serious pollution of atmospheric environment, even impacting on the natural environment.From the theory of spontaneous combustion of coal, this article analyze the main factors of the spontaneous combustion of coal, and features of the Dong Feng mine in this area of the coal mining:a long time, serious damage to the coal seams, it has the coal seam outcrop around mine field, obtain combustion causes and characteristics of Dong Feng mine shallow goaf. By the analysis of the causes and features of Dong Feng mine shallow goaf spontaneous combustion, this article work out, after ground radon measurement probe fire zone, program of using composite colloidal control fire zone. By using radon measurement technology on the ground probe the scope and direction of development of Dong Feng old kiln fire area, it determine construction of reasonable grouting boreholes and monitoring boreholes, propose governing fire zone’s ideas, which is using ground mobile high flow grouting system,inject composite colloidal to the underground. After the treatment effect on the Dong Feng mine fire zone of shallow goaf, the control project completely extract the coal reserves affected Fire Area of8#, ensure the mine’s normal expansion and replacement.
