Hong Liu Coal Mine is located in Yuanyanghu mining areas of Ningdong, which isstructure development.The coal-bearing strata belong to the Jurassic system of Yan’anformation, the coal layer has14layers. The average thickness of the top2nd main coal seamis6.1miles, the dip is generally6°to18°, and the depth is between160miles and1100miles.China’s large mining height faces whose mining height are more than5miles,and the seaminclination is generally less than5°. Under the conditions of the inclination of6°~18°of the2nd seam of the Hongliu mine mining,they used the6.0miles large mining high achieving awell side of8.0Mt/a.It needs research and design innovation to face mining technology, andservice for mine safety efficient production.This paper is on the base of geology condition analysis and the detection of coal physicaland mechanical parameters, and by the means of numerical simulation, theoretical calculation,engineering analogy and field practice, has ascertained that the rational length of largecaving-height of6m of Hongliu coal is300m, strike length is2000m, mining craft isunidirectional cutting technology at the end. And the selection of main equipment of the firstcoalface: MG900/2210-GWD shearer, heavy SGZ1250/3×855scraper conveyor,SZZ1350/525loader, ZY10000/28/62D hydraulic support and top and transition frame.Anti-skid Control technique for hydraulic support is proposed in this paper:①to improveanti-skid capability of support, setting the scheduling hoisting jack under the hydraulicsupport, and setting bilaterally adjustable canopy and shield-beam with board.②To improveefficiency,4bent frames at top and end face is made to anchorage station.③To solve the stability problem of ends, the transition form of5end bent frames rising to6m is applied.④The false dip layout of up end conveyor gateway advancing down end ventilation entry with18m is applied. The measures of controlling rib spalling is applied:①hydraulic supportwith face-sprag, and the height is2m.②Advancing support with the roof pressure aftercaving.③support in time and accelerating mining speed.Hongliu coal mine adopted the design scheme and technical measures, carrying out the1121fully mechanized coal face construction and production.Working face roof got goodcontrol,the highest daily output was27200t, the average monthly production was630000t,andthe direct work efficiency is238t/d.Practice shows that mining technology and equipmenttype selection is good, realizing the6m high safety and high efficient production.
