High concentration oil sludge pollution is a worldwide research topic.Microbiological process was considered to be a low pollution, high efficiency andenvironmentally-friendly way. Pseudomonas aeruginosa NY3was isolated by thelaboratory from oil contaminated soil. NY3strain could degradation oil crude. Thispaper discussed biodegradation characteristics of NY3strain for crude oil and oil sludge,and improved the ability of biodegradation.This paper studied the optimization of the conditions for this strains degradation ofn-hexadecane. And based on this, the paper inspected the ability of NY3strains rapiddegradation of oil pollution system and a high concentration of oil sludge system.Results showed:(1) Pseudomonas aeruginosa NY3could use n-hexadecane to grow. After54h, thegrowth quantify of NY3strain was2.348(600nm), and the degradation rate was91.7%for the hexadecane of4.97g/L and the pH from7.65dropped to6.14.(2) Cu2+and Fe2+improved the NY3strain cell activity of biodegradation. Adding2.62mg/L Fe2+, the degradation rate for n-hexadecane increased about20%in30min.And Adding3.2mg/L Cu2+, the degradation rate of n-hexadecane improved24.3%within cell free extract in5min. When the system existed the cofactorⅠ or propionicacid, the degradation rate of10.46g/L n-hexadecane was56.59%and59.08%in30min,respectively. Mg2+also improved the degradation rate of n-hexadecane.(3) Pseudomonas aeruginosa NY3could quickly degrade the various kinds ofcrude oil hydrocarbons.100g/L of crude oil,20%(v/v) NY3strain, the degradation ratewas27.07%in240h. Adding rhamnolipid,9‰intensifierⅠ,60mg/L intensifierⅡ, the degradation rate of crude oil was61.63%、62.49%、40.84%, respectively, within NY3strain in240h. Meanwhile, the NY3strain could degrade the phenanthrene (Ph) andpyrene (Pr) in crude oil. And the crude oil system included15g/L of NaCl, this strainstill could efficiently degrade crude oil.(4) Oil sludge system included petroleum hydrocarbons, surfactant and otherchemicals from oil extraction process. In aerobic system, the pseudomonas aeruginosaNY3could quickly degrade oil sludge. For100g/L oil sludge, the degradation rate was83.8%in168h. Adding41mg/L rhamnolipid,9‰intensifierⅠ,60mg/L intensifierⅡin the system, the degradation rate increased about92.34%、93.62%、95.5%,respectively. At the same time, the NY3strain removed5060%of the Ph and Pr.
